Little River South Carolina
Little River is the first city you drive into as you enter Horry County from North Carolina on highway 17. Little River is the oldest and one of the most unique towns along the Grand Strand. It is about 20 miles from the heart of Myrtle Beach, so the residents and visitors share peaceful days in the town which is far enough away from the sky scraping hotels. Little River is known for its fresh seafood, annual blue crab festival, fishing charters, casino boats, and historic centuries-old live oak trees. It is one of the last communities on the Grand Strand where a slower pace still exists.
This city has a variety of restaurants along the Intracostal Waterway to dine daily. Of course, for those who love to play in the waterway you can jump on in at Crickett Cove or Coquina Harbor marina or dock your boat, charter a fishing trip, rent a pontoon boat, or rent some jet skis. Little River is just a short drive to all of the Grand Strand’s famous attractions, golf courses, shows, shopping outlets, and world-class entertainment.
